I had the opportunity to kickstart the early versions of Rakka's alien creature, Klum. Eventually, it was passed to our character artist Ian Spriggs who did majority of the designs and iterations. Simultaneously, Neill and I came up with the visuals and functions for their alien technology. Internally known as Swax, short for Swang Wax, these black matters can take on any shape or density to meet different needs. This became the primary language behind all of Rakka's alien technologies.
